Host a night

A charity, shop, or organization hosts from a host account and does not sit a chair. If you also want to play, keep a separate player account. Only a host account can open a night. Host accounts run the night and do not sit a play chair. Verify your email, then host. Hosting does not need a paid membership. Entry fees are real money. We hold your card when you take a chair. We charge it when the night starts. If the night is called off before it starts, we release the hold or refund you. Texas 42 keeps a $5 site fee per entry. Any extra the host adds goes to the host, paid through Stripe.

How money works here

Texas 42 runs a free weekly house night. Tuesdays 7:00 PM America/Texas. Round robin into a short elimination final. Free chairs may sit. Kids may sit with parent or guardian approval. Two tables or it quietly does not happen.
The Tuesday house night is free to sit. Hosting a night of your own is a paid service fee.
Entry fees are real money. We hold your card when you take a chair. We charge it when the night starts. If the night is called off before it starts, we release the hold or refund you. Texas 42 keeps a $5 site fee per entry. Any extra the host adds goes to the host, paid through Stripe.
Fees are for hosting and running the night: brackets, tables, and the scoreboard. They do not fund prizes.
Kids may win prizes with guardian approval. Parent pays any fee. Host handles prizes — we do not hold or police cash prizes.
Glory tokens are just for fun here — no cash value, and they can't be cashed out. They are for a seat’s flair, cosmetics, or a glory award.
Prizes, if any, are between the host and the players. Texas 42 does not hold or police cash prizes.
Hosts get paid through Stripe. Finish payout setup so players can take a paid chair and your extra reaches you.
We don't track you to sell ads, and we don't build kid-directed marketing lists.

Membership billing stays on /membership. Entry fees use their own Stripe checkout. They never touch membership billing.
