Your partner's double is on the table
Puzzle
You are South. Your partner, North, bid 30 and named deuces as trump. That means every domino with a 2 on it is a trump, and it does not belong to any other suit.
Four tricks are done, and North won all four. Your side has 29 points so far. North just led the double-four. East followed with the four-blank. It is your turn, and West plays after you.
You have three dominoes left: the five-blank, the six-five, and the ace-blank. You have no fours, so you do not have to follow suit. You can play any of the three.
The five-blank is a nickel. That means it is worth 5 points to whichever side takes the trick it lands in.
Look back over the tricks. Count the deuces that have already been played. Then decide what goes on North's double-four.
The answer is up tomorrow morning.
