Friends, visibility, and the name people see.
This page is your friends list, who can find you, and the name other players see. Every account starts private. Public is only available after email verification. Invites to a private account go straight to email. Private accounts are not searchable. Chat is table-wide in-game, with no side DMs.
Accounts are live. Your friends list is on your account and follows you. The waiting room on this page is still only on this device. Live tables are on Home — Create or Join with a code. Go to Home Play pings and message-waiting notes are email only. This site will not ask for a phone number and will not send SMS.

Type the email on their Texas 42 account. We email them a link. They show under Friends after they accept. Private accounts are never pinged in-app.

Badges are local UI while this site is open, not email, not SMS. They show display names only. Private-account friend requests still go straight to email and do not badge in-game until you accept from the email link.

Always on. Verify, password reset, email-change cancel/notice, and report copies still reach the inbox.
Play-invite and message-waiting email are optional. Security mail is not. Turning those pings off never silences account-security notes.
